March is one of my favourite months. The evenings get lighter, blossom starts to show, little green shoots start to poke through soil, and I get to eat lots of birthday cake. This March was a lovely March. I know that it's already mid-April, but I wanted to make a record of some of the month's moments.

- Catching up with my best friend who has just returned from her travel adventure

- A date with my lovely mum at The Side Door and then to the Philharmonic to see Sarah Millican
- Pampering at the wonderful House Beauty and Spa
- Celebrating my 29th birthday
- A breakfast date at The Tavern with some of my favourite girls
- Birthday cake
- A birthday trip to York with M:
- Exploring lovely shops in the Shambles and surrounding streets
- Smoked meats, pickles and pints at the House of Trembling Madness
- Eating a tasty meal and watching FAME The Musical
- High heels (me), whiskey (him) and mojitos
- Afternoon tea in Betty's Belmont room
- Trying on my bridesmaid dress
- Watching M's band while I ate a big slice of tasty pizza
- After work dates with a friends
April's also off to a good start and the sunshine certainly helps to lift my mood. I'm hoping that this sunny weather sticks!
